Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in RMP/BARC .

Category–I : 17 posts (SC-04,ST-02,OBC-02, UR-9) (Mech. Engg./ Chemical Engg./ Instrumentation / Electronics/ Electrical), Qualification : Diploma/ Licentiate in Mechanical/ Chemical/Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical Engg. with 60% marks.

Category–II : 18 posts (SC-04,ST-03, OBC-02, UR-9) (Chemical Plant operator / Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Fitter/ Electronics), Qualification : SSC (10th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks plust ITI certficate in Fitter/Chemical Plant Operation/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical of 2 years duration/ NCVT of 3 years duration. Candidates passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for Chemical Plant Operator

Age Limit : Minimum 19 years and maximum 24 years (as on 01/01/2008) for Category I, and minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years (as on 01/01/2008) for Category II. Relaxation of five years in age is admissible to SC/ST and three years to OBC candidates.

Physical Standards : Minimum Height : 160 cms. , Minimum weight : 45.5 Kgs (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.)

Total Duration of Training Period : One year for Category I, and two years for Category II.

Stipend During Training : Rs. 6500/- p.m. for Category I, and Rs. 4000/- p.m for 1styear and Rs.5000/- p.m for 2nd year for Category II. Upon successful completion of training, the trainees will be considered for absorption in one of the following grades depending on their performance during the period of training and interview to be held at the end of the training. Based on the performance during training additional increments may be given on appointment

1. Category – I : Scientific Assistant/B in Pay Scale Rs. 5500-175-9000/-
2. Category – II : Tradesman/D in the Pay Scale : Rs. 4500-125-7000/-
3. Category – II : Tradesman/C in the Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-100-6000/-
4. Category – II : Tradesman/B in the Pay Scale : Rs. 3200-85-4900/-
